My novel is set in an old English castle in the English country side in the 1930's. I can tell that it is set in the 1930's because the Gramophone was very popular but there is no talk of the world wars.
My modern book is set in 2009. I can telll because they have bowing 747's, AK47's

Topaz is very beautiful, with masses of hairso fair thatit is almost white and quite extraordinary pallor. Rose is beautiful,vainand bored.Stepen is dazzlingly handsome and hopelessly in love with Cassandra.Cassandra is funny, pritty and in love with simon.
Max is a scruffy boy who is very brave fit and is very good at survive

Topaz is Rose's mother they love any other but do not have time to exespres that love.
Mr Mortain is Cassandra's farther she loves him and his books that he forced him to start wrighting again by locking him in a tower for three days.
Stepen is great friends with Cassandra and deaply in love with her as the book gose on it becomes more and more awkard between them.
Max and his father are very close relasioncloser than most.

My favourite character is Cassandra because she is funny, clever, dose not hold any thing back and she is very proper
Max because he is a English school boy witch I can reat to

the language is very old! with words like bank instead of hill and trunk instead of suitcase
dramatic irony knowing where his father is. it was like being high.

My book is a Classic. It has stood the test of time because people will allways have feelings and this is what this book displays even though the language will get old people will be able to relate to to this book
My book is a moden book because there are lods of storys of school boys that go on adventures and win. I do not think this will be a classic
